Mission Statement
My mission is to provide individualized and compassionate massage therapy sessions to support you in pursuit of a life of ease and well-being. Golden Dawn Massage is to be a safe place to let go of your tension, find relief from physical discomfort, and enjoy a period of calm respite from the stress of everyday life.
Skills
My work is a synergistic approach combining Western massage and Thai bodywork (compressions, assisted stretching and joint mobilization). I utilize tools like hot stones, Gua Sha and cupping together with trigger point therapy and various deep tissue and swedish massage techniques to find the best therapeutic approach for you. No matter if you’re looking for a relaxing service to melt your tensions, or a more active session to help with more serious discomfort, I will tailor the experience to your needs.
Jonathan’s Story
I discovered my passion for massage therapy during my first hands on sessions in school. I felt a strong purpose, unlike with almost anything else I had experienced in life. I knew that a path had opened up for me, one that would allow me to help people improve their quality of life through therapeutic touch.
I graduated mid 2020 and a year later moved to Lawrence Kansas, to start my professional massage career at Elevate Arts of Wellness, a beautiful massage spa and valued part of the community. There I was able to hone my skills, and trade knowledge and bodywork with the many great therapists that I had the pleasure to work with. I still work there today if you’d like to come visit, it’s a great place to get a massage.
With experience under my belt, and encouragement from peers, clients and family, I decided to open Golden Dawn Massage to serve Eudora and the surrounding area. I look forward to meeting the many wonderful people that make up this community, and to contribute what I have to offer to aid them in living their lives with more ease.
I live in Lawrence with my wife and son, and our little dog. I’m grateful for all the blessings I have received, and for being able to share the gift of massage with you.
